Caucasus Center for Regional Studies (CCRS) is an interdisciplinary research unit established in 2025. It is a successor of the International School for Caucasus Studies (a research unit within the Ilia State University since 2009) and Center for Russian Studies, an independent research center founded in 2020.

It aims to carry out research, strengthen academic cooperation, and spread knowledge regarding the region of which Georgia is a part. This includes the Caucasus, Black Sea area, and Eastern Europe.
